Veronica Petrucci, of Angelo and Veronica, records “Take Me to the King” made popular by Gospel artist Tamela Mann in Spanish language.  Veronica, who is of Puerto Rican descent, released her first solo Spanish language album “Atrévete a Soñar” in 2009 where her very own composition, “Dare to Dream” was selected for the Special Olympics.

Veronica Petrucci has ministered along with Marcos Witt and Danilo Montero at Lakewood Church Spanish service and has opened for legendary Latino acts such as El Gran Combo, Willy Chirino and Ismael Miranda.  Veronica is in hopes of reaching Latino audiences with this Spanish rendition of “Take Me to the King” which has topped the Gospel Billboard charts at no. 1 for over 25 weeks.

veronicaPetrucciVeronica Petrucci has been most widely recognized as apart of the husband and wife Gospel/R&B/ Latin duo, Angelo and Veronica. These two highly skilled vocalists and met in the city of Boston and both studied at Berklee College of Music. Their debut solo album in 1992, “Higher Place” caught the attention of both Gospel music mogul Bobby Jones and legendary hit pop songwriter Diane Warren to create the incomparable sound that is Angelo and Veronica. They went on to record 6 albums with Benson Music Group, Verity Records and Harmony Records, a division of Sony, Inc. Their song “God Knows” was included in legendary Gospel artist, John P. Kee’s “Show Up” video and also made top 15 on the Contemporary Christian Music charts. They toured with Iyanla Vanzant (from the Oprah Winfrey network) with their 1999 release, “Change”. They are recipients of three Dove awards including Contemporary Black Gospel song of the year and Urban Album of the year. Angelo and Veronica have made numerous television appearances on Fox 17, TBN, Word Network and BET. In 2009, they performed at a very historical Inaugural Event at the prestigious Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. Also in 2009, they released their long awaited CD entitled “Still in Love”. Angelo and Veronica became ordained as Worship Pastors in 2009 and currently hold that position at Life International Church in Huntsville, AL.

In 2005, she created A Voice for Women, a ministry dedicated to empower, encourage and edify women. Born in New York City and of Puerto Rican descent, Veronica released her first solo Spanish language album “Atrévete a Soñar” in 2009. In 2006, she closed for Elton John with a song she wrote called “Dare to Dream” which was also selected for the Special Olympics. In 2010, she was a guest soloist for Michael W. Smith’s “Music City Unites for Haiti” for which she also performed live at the 2010 Dove Awards. In 2011, she performed at the Taste of Soul Festival in Los Angeles, the Georgia Dome for the Stand One Body and COGIC Convention at the America’s Center in St. Louis. In 2012, she made her first solo television appearances on BET Bobby Jones Gospel and TBN Praise the Lord with Donnie McClurkin and Mary Mary. She has performed at the Kurt Carr 20 Year Music Celebration, One Love Gospel Cruise and Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole’s Singers and Musicians Conference. She has partnered with Lataillade Entertainment and Central South Distribution along with her record label, Latin Soul Entertainment to release her first official solo CD entitled “Made It Out Alive” slated for 2013. “Made It Out Alive” will include special guests Fred Hammond, John P. Kee and Shirley Murdock. Veronica has also recorded a song called “Hope” for the major motion picture, Unconditional which is a duet with Brian Courtney Wilson produced by Award winning producer (for Marvin Sapp and Israel Houghton), Aaron Lindsey. She is also working on her first book publication similarly titled, “How I Made It Out Alive”.

Nashville, TN-Latin Soul Entertainment announces Veronica Petrucci’s highly anticipated solo project, “Made It Out Alive”, will feature special guests Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, Shirley Murdock and Canton Jones.

Veronica says, “I am so excited these amazing artists are apart of my very first solo endeavor! I believe each of them are some of the most talented artists in the world and I am so honored they are apart of this album! I am overwhelmed by the support they have given me for this project.”

Multi-Award winning Gospel artist, Fred Hammond also produced on the upcoming solo album. The song will feature Fred Hammond and Veronica Petrucci with a special guest appearance by Canton Jones. This album will also include duets with John P. Kee and Shirley Murdock.

Veronica Petrucci is most widely known by the Multi-Award winning husband and wife duo, Angelo and Veronica. “Made It Out Alive” will also include two bonus Spanish tracks. Latin Soul Entertainment distributed through Central South Distribution will be releasing a new single to radio and will announce a release date soon.
