UK Wordsmith ‘Cadet’ is ready to take the nation for 2010
Monday 7th June 2010, London, UK – With a strong debut EP entitled “Are you Ready” under his belt, 2010 is proving to be a truly memorable year for young Brit Rap sensation Samson ‘CADET’ Mpendo. The 20 Year old North Londoner aims to return to UK radio stations with his forthcoming single “Realise” produced by the critically acclaimed production team The Confectionery.
‘Realise’ is a strong electro inspired track of which Cadet blends its synthetic sounds with hard drums and thought provoking lyrics. “I basically wanted to show that there is light at the end of the tunnel”.  The song itself is ultimately a club friendly hit that will definitely raise the profile of UK Urban music throughout the nation in 2010 and includes an official remix featuring UMA Award winner Guvna B, MOBO Award winner Victizzle as well as a Dubstep remix from up and coming producer Nytz of SoundBwoy Ent.
Cadet has been up and down the country gigging and performing alongside some of the UK’s top artists such as MOBO award winning Chipmunk, BET award nominee Ghetto and Bashy. Cadet also had the opportunity to be part of various carnivals such as Notting Hill, Tottenham and Oxford to name a few. He also featured at The Roundhouse Camden ‘Turning Point Festival’ which featured artists such as chart-topping Tinchy Stryder, Kano, VV Brown and The Noisettes as well as performing live in Copenhagen, Denmark last summer and The Indigo2 this month!
Cadet’s music has been played on radio stations from stations on your fm/am wave dial from Choice fm to BBC Radio, 1XTRA to Premier radio & internet radio stations, he’s had a Live T.V appearance as well his video now being aired on Flava TV and has been play-listed on Channel AKA. Alongside this, his EP has been reviewed in several magazines.
